The second charity event of Vegalta Sendai x YUKI FOOTBALL ACADEMY x Baan Dek Foundation (Let’s send Vegalta Sendai to Thai Children! with Takeshi Okubo (YUKI FOOTBALL ACADEMY) & Baan Dek Foundation), which was held in December last year, will be held on Saturday, January 14 at the home game of Bangkok FC, to which YUKI FOOTBALL ACADEMY Director Takeshi Okubo (Vegalta Sendai OB) belongs. (YUKI FOOTBALL ACADEMY & Baan Dek Foundation), an event called “Bangkok is Gold” was held on Saturday, January 14 at the home game of Bangkok FC, to which our Academy Director Takeshi Okubo (Vegalta Sendai alumni) belongs. This event was held at Bangkok FC’s home game.
The event brought together children from the area where Bangkok FC is based, distributed Vegalta goods donated by Vegalta supporters, held a soccer school, and then invited the children to watch a Bangkok FC game.
At the YUKI FOOTBALL ACADEMY x Bangkok FC Soccer School, a total of 100 children from both academies trained together, and the event was filled with smiles as the children in Vegalta Sendai uniforms ran around in high spirits.
There was also a special training session for goalkeepers, separate from the children on the field, and we could catch glimpses of the children enjoying a different kind of training.
It was a very hot day, and we would like to thank all the parents for taking care of the children’s physical condition, assisting with training, refilling drinks, etc.
